Big 5 Safari Overview

Arrival in Johannesburg

Your safari begins upon arrival at O.R. Tambo International Airport (Johannesburg), where you will be met and transferred to a boutique hotel for your first overnight stay.

Zimbabwe Safari – Elephant & Leopard

On Day 2, you will depart for Victoria Falls, Zimbabwe, where your safari begins with the pursuit of a Trophy elephant and Leopard over bait.

You will stay in a comfortable safari camp in chalets located approximately 45 minutes from Victoria Falls Airport. Up to 14 days (or less, depending on success) are allocated for these two iconic species.

Both the elephant and leopard trophies are fully exportable, offering a true classic African hunting experience.

Victoria Falls Experience

Following the completion of your Zimbabwe safari, you will enjoy one night in Victoria Falls, including time for sightseeing and experiencing one of the natural wonders of the world.

Kalahari Lion Hunt

After Victoria Falls, you will return to South Africa and transfer to our Kalahari concession to hunt a Trophy blonde mane lion.

Upgrade Option:

• Black mane lion available for +$10,000 USD

Limpopo, South Africa – Rhino & Cape Buffalo

Upon success of the lion hunt, you will transfer to Kudu Valley Safari Lodge, near Thabazimbi in Limpopo, to complete your Big 5 safari with Rhino and Cape Buffalo.

The package includes:

• A trophy Rhino with the longest horn measuring up to 22 inches

• A trophy Cape Buffalo bull with hard bosses measuring up to 42 inches in width

Departure

At the conclusion of your safari, you will be transferred back to Johannesburg for your international departure home.

Each species is hunted in the region best suited for trophy quality, success rates, and overall experience.

Important Trophy Export Information

Elephant & Leopard

The elephant and leopard trophies are exportable from Zimbabwe. If importing into the United States, additional import assistance may be required. We assist with this process through trusted agencies. The cost is typically around $2,000 USD, paid separately after the safari.

White Rhino

The Rhino trophy is fully exportable. Hunters must submit a hunting resume (CV with photos) in advance to obtain the necessary permit.

Lion

The lion trophy is exportable to most countries, however it is not currently importable into the United States due to U.S. Fish & Wildlife Service regulations.

For U.S. clients, we recommend:

• Professional photography and videography

• A 100% replica mount created in the United States

Videography services are available upon request.

Cape Buffalo

The Cape buffalo trophy is fully exportable and does not require any additional or advance permitting beyond standard export and import procedures, making it one of the most straightforward trophies to process and ship internationally.

Trophy Logistics

Our team works closely with experienced export agents and taxidermists to ensure a smooth, compliant, and efficient process for all trophies from field to final destination.

What’s Not Included

While this package is highly inclusive, the following items are not included:

• International airfare to and from Johannesburg

• Any additional hunting days beyond the standard 21-day itinerary

• Gratuities for Professional Hunters, trackers, skinners, and lodge staff

• Taxidermy services

• Export and import of trophies to the client’s home country
